The Joke Man and Sharing

Two quick things today:

Here's the recording of our super successful webcast last week with Jackie "The Joke Man" Martling (we gave away a sick amount of useful information to help Jackie monetize jokeland.com. Were you able to apply some of these tips for your benefit?)





Second, recently on Cool Talk I recommended adding ShareThis or AddThis links on your web pages or blogs (like I do below) and I specified that you make the 'email a friend' option the default option (because that's what most people choose when sharing info). Well, check out this usage chart that I just received from ShareThis. E-mail sharing is the confirmed leader (35% of all sharing is done using e-mail) so when you add your ShareThis or AddThis links, be sure to make 'e-mail' the default option.

QUALITY traffic, Howard Stern, and the man who wrote his jokes

Are you sleeping at the wheel?

OK, three things I gotta share with you right now.

First off, remember my post of July 24th? The one asking 'how about a site evaluation from Cool Site of the Day?' Well it turns out A LOT of you read the last paragraph and posted your URL in the 'comments' section. Good thing you did, as of right now there are NINETY FOUR comments (including feedback from myself, Markus Allen of StumpMarkus, and other members of the Cool Site community). So, if you posted your URL and were hoping for some feedback, head back to that July 24th post....you just may be pleasantly surprised).

BTW, the door is still open if you're looking for a comprehensive site evaluation. This is a limited time service (honestly, they're a lot of work and I don't know how long we can keep at it).
