Is $100,000.00 Net A DAY Really Possible?

As you know, about two weeks ago I was privileged to attend a true Internet Marketing underground event. Not the kind that you can just pay your way into (well you could if you had $10,000.00 and were one of the first 10 in line), but a real "Invitation Only" Guru-style event.

The guys on stage literally net between $50k and $100k a day. (Yes, I said “Net!”)

http://www.cnotes.com/r/ppc-arbitrage.html

Since the day I began online, I have never come across any other marketers (no matter how big their guru status) that are making that kind of money on any kind of consistent basis.

And here's where it gets ever crazier…

They spent the day sharing exactly how they do it!

I was utterly amazed at what I was learning, because everything they said not only made sense, it wasn't even hard to grasp or even implement!

If anything it humbled me, because it made me realize there are guys out there that know a whole lot more about making serious, big league profits online than I do.

When I left the room at the end of the day, I didn't walk, I RAN back to my hotel room, and immediately went to work applying a number of the many tactics they use everyday to make gobs and gobs of money.

Did they work?

Well let's just say that the immediate jump in traffic using a couple of the concepts they taught are pretty unlikely coincidences.

They have just leaked a number of the secrets they shared with the top guru's last week, and you can get them here:

Cheers,

Mike

P.S. I've got a lot more to add to this but I just got that link today and had to share it with you before everyone in the entire universe gets their hands on it.

Stay tuned.

You've got until midnight...

Wow!

Insane news today (and SORRY for the late notice)....I don't even know where to start.

The InnerMastermind Pay Per Click conference I attended in Las Vegas on Thursday/Friday was mind blowing but before I get to that...get THIS!.....

Last week I told you about Jeff Walker's Product Launch Formula. I'm not going to tell you how great a tool it is--for that, you can read his lengthy info letter. What I am going to tell you is that Jeff
did more than a million dollars in sales booked in about 12 hours (remember, he launched his Product Launch Formula on Thursday).

That's just plain crazy... I mean it was just a few years ago when doing a million dollars in a
day was nearly unthinkable for an Internet marketing product.

Here's what you need to know: if you are looking for the ULTIMATE guide to launching ANY product or service, you've got until midnight tonight to order the
Product Launch Formula. There's no guarantee he'll be taking orders through the night (I understand he has to limit orders to approximately 500 because of customer service issues) but it's worth checking out:

http://www.cnotes.com/r/product_launch_formula.html

One last point about Jeff, the PLF, and my recommendation: I carefully choose which products I endorse and stand behind them 100%. There are only a handful of companies and products that I'm currently promoting and the PLF is at the top of my list....Schefren's CashMaps is another).

Las Vegas & PPC

So, last week I was invited to an intensive seminar in Vegas on pay per click advertising. The speaker is currently using pay per click to advertise a bunch of offers from several CPA ad networks.

This guy (and his partner) is no ordinary pay per click advertising specialist. As I expressed to others at the seminar, I consider myself to be quite advanced when it comes to Adwords and ppc in general. Little did I know how much more I could (and now, will) accomplish. The speaker (who must remain anonymous for reasons you'll understand in a few weeks), is earning between $50,000 and $150,000+ from ppc PER DAY.

I must tell you, I walked away from this event with a few pages of invaluable notes and insight. If you have ANY interest in either affiliate marketing or ppc advertising, this is the guy you want to learn from.

A few things I picked up:

  • Don't underestimate Yahoo! for traffic (he currently derives SIXTY percent of his traffic from Yahoo! Search Marketing®).
  • Two CPA networks you definitely want to join are AzoogleAds and Shareasale.
  • Another great tool for online advertising is the Google Ad Planner.
  • Creating HUGE lists of keywords is essential for certain types of campaigns.

As I digest what I learned from last week and as I start to apply some, if not most, of the methods discussed, I will have a lot more to share.

Fortunately, he's releasing a course which provides and inside look at his business. It promises to cover everything I learned last week and a lot more. I don't have any details yet but I know it's going to be a combination of videos, live webinars, and printed material. As soon as I get more info, you'll be the first to know. Stay alert.

Finally,
speaking of ppc, I just got a heads up from Jeremy Palmer of the Black Ink Project about of a PPC flowchart from Giovanna Wall of SEO Book fame. Hey, if you're into ppc or affiliate marketing, the three links in this paragraph are going to immediately make it to your hotlist.

Happy reading,

Mike

Google Adwords & Affiliate Marketing

My live webcast, Cool Talk begins in about one hour (1:30PM EST).

I hope you'll join me because I'm going to discuss a few things I picked up at the ad-tech conference in New York on Tuesday (I sat down with some Google people and learned a few Adwords and Conversion Tracking tricks).

Here are a few pointers:
  • Make sure you choose Phrase Match or Exact Match when entering keywords
  • Include single and plural variations of your keywords
  • When setting up a campaign, be sure to create Ad Variations (and highlight your competitive advantage)
  • When you find a high-performing keyword, create a NEW campaign just for that keyword and RAISE your daily budget (same applies for 'content' ad group keywords)
  • When adding 'Content' keywords, don't include more than 50 keywords (plus Phrase and Exact Match don't work in Content ads)
  • Adwords Editor: if you use this tool, they recently added a neat feature. It's a keyword expansion tool and you'll find it under Keyword Optimizer Tool/Tabs: Keyword Expansion.
Affiliate Marketing Tips

Also, I met with my 'ace-in-the-hole' affiliate network manager, Gary Mcnelley from
MarketHealth and found out which hot products I'll be advertising this quarter (this is the guy who turned me onto the right product mix that helped me earn over $200,000 in two years so I think you'll want to dabble around here). Anyway, here's what you do:
  1. signup as an affiliate of MarketHealth
  2. Focus on their niche products (diet stuff is too competitive for pay per click these days). Hint: nail fungus and boils. There I said it. Do what you will.
A reminder: register as an affiliate for Commission River and mark you calendars for a conference call on November 20th at 9PM EST. This is another outstanding affiliate program. (Pssssst....anyone who registers as an affiliate for either of these programs (using the links above) will be invited to join me on a series of private VIP calls where I share what's working for me. Stay connected.)

Finally, if you're one of the first 3 callers today, you'll get to go live with me and get to ask any questions related to your online/web marketing efforts.

One last thing, I was invited to go to Las Vegas next week and spend a day with a guy who's making (NETTING) between $50,000 and $100,000/day from pay per click advertising. I can't wait for this pow wow and I'll be sure to share as much as I'm able when I return ;

Cheers,

P.S. If your website has benefited from being featured on Cool Site
of the Day or if you've gained from the information that I've shared on coolsite.com or on
Cool Talk, please leave a video testimonial today--once I see the testimonial, I'll add you to our link page (again, since Cool Site of the Day has a Page Rank of 7 your search engine ranking will likely improve).

Time for you to make some money

It's a crazy busy Monday morning for me so I'm just going to give you "the link".

Yeah, this is worth your complete time and attention.

In a nutshell, it's an outstanding affiliate program (telecom products/services and more).

One other thing: after you register as an affiliate, mark you calendars for a conference call on November 20th at 9PM EST. I'll explain more as we get close to the date.

Gotta boogie,

Mike

October 30, 2008

Don't you deserve some attention?

My live webcast, Cool Talk begins in about an hour (1:30PM EST).

I hope you'll join me because the first 3 callers will go live with me and get to ask any questions related to their online/web marketing efforts.

In addition, I'm going to discuss the following:

  • How to quickly and easily build an seo friendly Amazon affiliate site using WMC's Amazon Site Generator.

  • How to use Google's Keyword Tool to best advantage.

  • How a call with the braniacs at PicLits sparked some great ideas for community building for ANY site.
Finally, again, video testimonials can only advance the success of your site and marketing efforts. Just take a look at the fun we're having with Bubble Testimonial on Cool Site of the Day.

Of course, if your website has benefited from being featured on Cool Site of the Day or if you've gained from the information that I've shared on coolsite.com or on Cool Talk, please leave a video testimonial today--once I see the testimonial, I'll add you to our link page (again, since Cool Site of the Day has a Page Rank of 7 your search engine ranking will likely improve).

Finally, here are some underrated and cool links for your use and pleasure:

  • ActiveWords - an spectacularly great productivity tool if you use a Windows based PC.
  • Bubbl.us - Every web/business thing you do should be outlined as a process. Start mapping.
  • Formspring - A great, inexpensive tool for creating EXCEPTIONAL surveys and polls on your site.
  • SEOmoz.org - Learn from the masters....then steal their tools ;)
  • Split Test Accelerator - split test your landing pages. Start TODAY. Also, check out the free and robust Google Website Optimizer tool.
  • SubmitEaze - For the sake of SEO, submit your site to Directories...with eaze.
  • The Oxford Project - just a cool site from Cool Site of the Day's archive.

Cheers,

Mike

Do you reach webmasters?

If you communicate to webmasters, you'll want to signup for the SubmitEaze affiliate program and encourage your list to try SubmitEaze.

SubmitEaze is a semi-automated directory submission software package that combines both website directory submission and article directory submission in one, easy-to-use package. Using SubmitEaze will result in more traffic, more sales, and more importantly: more money in your pocket.

Speaking of affiliate programs, just about anyone can put a link or banner on their site and sell software or electronic gadgets so here are two must join programs:

  • One Network
  • Buy.com (their buy.tv is revolutionizing the way consumer electronics are being sold; after you register with Commission Junction, join Buy.com's affiliate program and search the links for 'buytv')
If you want to get into specifics on how affiliate programs work and how easy it is to profit from them, join me on Cool Talk where you can ask me and my panel of experts questions via phone.

Affiliate Summit Social Media 2008

A couple of weeks ago I attended the Affiliate Summit Social Media conference in New York City. I came away with a lot of good information so here's a quick brain dump of the choicest bits compiled just for you:

To begin, if you think social media sites like myspace and facebook are for kids and teens only, you're wrong; 41% of facebook users are 35 years old+

As for DIGG, many folks agree that the true 'DIGG effect' is all about getting links. Don't expect the traffic to be high quality but do expect that once dugg, others will 'share' your link on their social bookmarking sites which will give you valuable inbound links.

You write great stuff. Now what?

If you write good content, share it via scribd, hubpages, and squidoo. This can be time consuming, so consider outsourcing (look on craigslist if you want somebody local) or hire a student intern.

Along those lines, consider putting up a Wiki. Don't know what I'm talking about? Start with wetpaint.

Also, anytime you post something of interest, post it to your Twitter account. Then, use either Socialmarker or the Firefox Add-On, Shareaholic, to spread your enviable message to the top 20 social/web 2.0 sites. CAUTION: do not post to more than 3 or 4 sites a day and try to mix and match Titles and Descriptions (metadata that the search engines crave)--again, consider outsourcing for this task.

Video Marketing

Clearly the drumbeat continues for using video as a marketing tool. If you can, come up with 'top 10' lists and record your reviews on video; then, use Traffic Geyser or TubeMogul to get listed in 20 or so video directory sites.

Another great tool for creating screen based tutorials is Jing or (for Mac freaks) Screenflow from Telestream. I know that once I start using these tools there'll be no turning back. And, BTW, I'll make my 'keyword research' video tutorial the first one you'll see--for a sneak preview, just play around with keywordtopia).

Also critical to your video marketing efforts: entering metadata (metadata includes the Title and Description that you include with the video--the search engines rely on this information to find your video and rank it appropriately).

Finally, don't feel pressured to create a regular stream of informative videos; consider that there are three sources from which to draw upon: 1) your own produced videos; 2) contributed videos from your visitors; and 3) collect videos from other sources. In essence, you want to assume the role of a 'curator'--there's a lot of great stuff out there related to your passion. Go get it!

More Tips

Find out which sites are linking to you and bookmark them using the social media sites. The idea here is that as the number of inbound links increase so does a site's Page Rank which means higher search engine rankings for them which then means more traffic and, ultimately, a great number of folks who will see the link to YOU.

Apparently, the best blogging platform to use when it comes to achieving better search engine rankings is Moveable Type. I wish I could offer more here but I'm just taking the word of the web 2.0 guru, Don Crowther, of StomperNet.

For reasons I don't quite understand, when posting URLs in Twitter, keep them under 20 characters (I suspect it's to assure that you don't get 'tinyURL'd' thereby eliminating backlinks back to the page/URL you're promoting).

Out of a desire not to overwhelm you, I'm going to stop here--I just looked at the rest of my notes and realized I've got a lot more to share. Stay tuned.

Mike

P.S. Here's a cool site I just discovered: Viewzi brings your favorite stuff together in one place in a new and highly visual way.

Affiliat Summit Social Media in NYC Oct 5th

Just got my press credentials to cover Affiliat Summit's Social Media Conference in NYC on October 5th. Looking forward to a great conference and sharing everything with you.

There's only room for 300 attendees; if you can make it to New York on October 5th I highly recommend this conference. You'll never approach Myspace, Facebook, DIGG, and Technorati the same....

More info here: Affiliate Summit

Problem with 'too much information'...what do you think?

After a great summer in New York I'm back to share my latest tips and tools to help make your Internet marketing efforts pay off in the fourth quarter.

After laying low for the past few weeks I am forced to overwhelm you with 'too much information'.

Yeah, you'll hear me say that you need to focus on only the important things in order to be successful online (getting traffic, converting traffic, and publishing great content). And yet, today, I've got so much damn good information to share with you that I just can't help myself.

Forgive me, I'm going to 'free associate' for a moment...

Many of you have already taken me up on my offer to evaluate your site from a design AND seo standpoint. Thanks for all the positive comments. For those of you who are on the fence, know this: my site evaluations come with a one-on-one phone consultation that is worth many times more than the $297 fee. Jump in; I won't bite.

Of course, even though I'm very proud of the SEO reports that we produce for you, some of you are very happy with your search engine optimization and I'm happy to share your comments like this one from C. Jones:

"Thank you but I already have an excellent search engine optimization company that markets my website. Check them out! www.seochampion.com"
And while we're talking SEO, here's a fine tip from Ian Lurie of Conversation Marketing:
"Write a high-quality meta description tag for each page of your site. That may not affect ranking but it'll get more folks to click on your search listing."

Must Have Tool for Affiliate Marketers

You'll notice I have a section in the right panel called 'Affiliate Opportunities'. If you're looking for good offers to promote and make money from, go no further. Except for this place....

Out of the hundreds of affiliate networks in existence, I'm pretty active with at least a dozen of them. You can imagine how much time it takes me to manage my affiliate marketing activities (finding offers, getting the links/copy/creative, promoting the offers, and, most importantly, tracking results).

Well, I think I'm about to significantly cut down on the time it takes for me to find the best offers out there. Affspy is now in 'public beta' so I recommend you register with them to start your search for the best affiliate opportunities (other than the ones I feature ;)

And while we're talking affiliate programs, check out inboxdollars
(I'm making over $.30 per click with them and you can find them at Azoogle)

Capturing Attention

If you sell or market a product or service from your website, I want you to checkout Adimpact.com

Adimpact
combines a floating layer technology to getting your popups noticed. I added it to this site because it helps to build my e-mail list (almost 22,000 strong!). If you need to get your message seen, try it out for a month and let me know what you think (add a comment at the end of this post).

Publicity for Your Web Site

Online press releases (creating inbound links) are good for your search engine marketing efforts. Here are three services you must consider:

The Press Release Newswire Leader

...plus, PRWizard, and Eric Ward's URLWire.

Goodbye, dialup

My monthly stats show that 4.19% of Cool Site of the Day visitors arrived via dialup while only 2.19% of my coolsite.com visitors (a more 'business' focused audience) are using yesterday's technology.

Find Great Domain Names

Domain Lookup is a Firefox extension that helps you discover valuable generic domain names while surfing the web.

Just select the text you wish to check and hit the shortcut key. Domain Lookup checks availability at your favorite registrar in a heartbeat.

Try it for a few days -- you'll be hooked too. It's free forever and takes just sixty seconds to install.

And yet another great Firefox Add-On (for sharing your web pages and blog posts with the most important social media sites): Shareaholic.

More Stuff...

QuickRibbon is a completely free Web2.0 tool, a website ribbon generator which lets you create a custom ribbon, insert a link in it and place it in the top right corner of your website (you can see it in action on Cool Site of the Day). It will take you less than 5 minutes to generate your own website ribbon with this trendy widget. I recommend using the QuickRibbon tool to attract your site's visitors attention to new features, announcements, sales, etc.

Finally, thanks to one of my loyal readers, Bob P (he sells candles) who alerted me about Network Solutions and their questionable business practices. If you have any domains registered with Network Solutions, please read this short article including the link to another article (even more offensive) entitled 'front running'.

To your success!

AffSpy - a 'Must Have' free tool for Affiliate Marketers

April 9, 2008

Facebook, Search Engine Traffic & More...

All sorts of things going on today...

First off, I finally started editing my Facebook page. I'll have a lot to say about 'Web 2.0/Social Marketing' stuff in the near future but for now I suggest you put up a Facebook page. It's a good way to connect with friends and business contacts.

I also added Twitter to my Facebook page (you'll see that gadget located halfway down the right side of my Facebook page). Twitter is simply a way for people to see what you're up to and for you to see what other people are up to (by doing so, you may see an opportunity to contact someone to discuss a project you're working on).

Bottom line regarding the above: just start playing with these tools (if you aren't already). Their usefulness will become apparent.

Cool Site of the Day VIP Program

I'm still working on launching the Cool Site of the Day VIP program. I've got most of the details ironed out but am considering hiring a copywriter to optimize the intro page. BTW, if you think this is something I should open up to the group (over 7,000 of you!), by all means, post your opinion as a 'comment' below (if you're reading this on the blog). This might actually be a great way for us to learn A LOT from each other.

Copywriting (very important topic)

Speaking of copywriters, here are some very useful TAGS from my Del.icio.us account:

  • The Gary Halbert Newsletter - Gary was considered by many to be one of the best copywriters out there. He passed away at a way too early age. Another copywriter who is legendary is John Carlton (be sure to sign up for John's '7 Marketing Strategy Lessons')

  • GoCopyWriting

  • Visuwords - tell me this won't help with your vocabulary.

  • GetMeContent - haven't used them yet but it seems like a good place to outsource writing projects (I'll be writing about the importance of outsourcing in a future post)

  • Copywriter Catalog - recently started by a nice guy, Jason Leister. Wish I could remember how we connected.

Shoemoney

I recently told you about WebmasterRadio.fm. Well, lately I've been tuning in every day; there are two shows worth checking out: Affiliate Thing (hosted by Lisa Picarille of Revenue Magazine and Shawn Collins of Affiliate Summit) and The Shoemoney Show hosted by Super Affiliate Jeremy Shoemaker. I listen during breakfast and lunch.

Affiliate Opportunity

I was listening to one of my favorite marketing geeks, Markus Allen, the other day (this guy lives and breathes marketing - offline and online). He's rather cynical about a handful of things related to affiliate marketing but one product he's absolutely behind is CGI Connection. Now, before I get into why you should be marketing CGI Connection, I want to point out that I stand behind all the Affiliate Opportunities listed on the right panel of the coolsite.com blog.

With that said, here's why I love CGI Connection: I'm not only an affiliate marketer for this great product but a customer as well. Here's what the guy behind CGI Connection, John Saya, offers: royalty-free web software scripts. Use any of his hundreds of scripts to simply make a better web site. If don't know how to program (like me) but need an easy way to get cool software onto your web site then CGI Connection is like a dream come true. So, become a customer AND an affiliate. You can't go wrong (especially if you take advantage of WMC to drive traffic to your affiliate link. See how it all ties together?)

Web Marketing Concepts

Speaking of which, if you're using Web Marketing Concepts to generate search engine traffic to your web site, here's an update I just got from the developer, Jim MacKinlay: when you set up your domain and 10 subdomains, only insert 200-300 keywords initially and then return to add the remaining keywords (to get to 500) about a month later. Any questions, feel free to contact me. And, oh yeah, that 'process map' for WMC is coming!

Finally, please answer my super short poll about font size preferences (left panel).

Thanks for reading,

Mike

Teleseminar - Make Time for This!

I just got this e-mail from Jim at Web Marketing Concepts.

I'm working on a big post for you (unrelated to WMC) but felt I had to get this information to you ASAP.

Here's Jim's message:

"We are pleased to announce that Web Marketing Concepts will be holding a Members Only Telesemiar on Wednesday April 2, 2008 at 8:00 PM Eastern Time. During this 90-minute event, we will be welcoming the new members that have joined during the last month and discussing how you can best use the Web Marketing Concepts system.

We will also be talking about how the Affiliate Content Generator and the Link Expander programs work together to improve your search engine rankings. We will conclude with a Question and Answer session to deal with any questions you may have about Web Marketing Concepts."
Listen, I'm not kidding around, if you haven't signed up for WMC yet you're only hurting yourself. At some point Jim is going to have to shut off all new memberships (or raise the price of entry way beyond what the average webmaster can afford).

As I've said before, with WMC, you will start generating ridiculous amounts of traffic within 45-60 days; if you don't, simply cancel your account. Trust me, it's worth the VERY SMALL risk.

Anyway, I gotta get back to some web page editing. Join WMC today and don't miss the free teleseminar tomorrow night (Wednesday 4/2/08 at 8PM EST).

Back at you on Thursday.

Mike

P.S. I know, you're probably skeptical. Right? How could something cost so little and deliver so much as WMC? Well, it gets even better: if you order WMC before tomorrow night's free teleseminar, I will personally walk you through the steps that I take (shortcuts, tricks, and all) when I setup my WMC campaigns (did I tell you that I currently have 10 separate WMC memberships/accounts!). All you have to do is e-mail me your phone number and your order confirmation number. Let me know a good time to call you and I will make an appointment for us to speak for 15 minutes before the weekend. My obsession with your success is real. Use me.

P.P.S. Here's a video tour Jim recently put together showing some of the nuts and bolts of his system. Worth a look.

Actionable Items

Thinking about that Subject heading ("Actionable Items") makes me laugh; if you've been paying attention, just about everything I post is 'actionable' meaning 'act now and good things will happen later' in your life and business.

Where to get a great logo...

The first thing I wanted to share with you today is a great and inexpensive resource for creating logos. GotLogos.com is run by a guy named Daniel; I've used his talents for several of my websites' logos. You can get a killer professionally designed logo for $25. Great value, try them out (someday I may ask him to offer a discount for webmasters who visit Cool Site of the Day...stay tuned).

Affiliate Marketing Recommendation...

I ran into Gary McNelley of MarketHealth at the Search Engine Strategies Trade Show last week. Gary's a great guy and his company, MarketHealth, sells natural, herbal health and wellness products (yeah, that's a mouthful but all you need to know is that there's a HUGE market for organic health and beauty products). Anyway, I've been a Super Affiliate of MarketHealth (ever since 2006 when I started generating over $30,000 in monthly commissions as an affiliate of MarketHealth products).

Here's the good news: MarketHealth has created a turn-key affiliate program for people who want to sell their products but don't have the time or talent to start from scratch. All you have to do is visit HerbalBiz and signup to create your own unique storefront (and then use WMC to drive traffic to it ;)

Here are just a few reasons why it makes sense to work with MarketHealth (and, no, this has nothing to do with multi-level marketing or MLM):

  • Make 50% of the purchase price
  • No Online Experience Required
  • No Customer Service
  • No Warehouse or Inventory
  • Sell over 50 well known Health and Beauty Products
  • Unlimited Income Potential
  • Work from Anywhere
  • Set Your Own Hours

I don't know about you but those are all the reasons that led me to build an online business. And like most people, I wanted to deal with a good and honest program that offers the greatest odds of making money. Well, MarketHealth and their HerbalBiz package is about as good as it gets (in the coming weeks I'll be sharing with you the rest of my highest rated affiliate opportunities). If you have any questions after visiting HerbalBiz, shoot me an e-mail--I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

One Smart Guy...

I'm saving the best for last but this is quite good also: somehow I tripped over Ian Lurie's web site yesterday, Conversation Marketing. First off, Ian is the kind of guy I'd like to work with someday but, in the meantime, Ian is going to teach me (and you) quite a few things that are essential to building and marketing web sites intelligently. Just check out his list of 59 Things You Should Be Doing But Probably Aren't. Truly great thinking and a list worth reviewing once a week.

Search Engine Traffic. Are You Paying Attention?

Finally, for those of you who took me up on my offer to set up your Web Marketing Concepts account, smart move! I couldn't handle all the requests that came in but you'll be happy to know that whether you use my services or go it alone, the results are worth it.

Here are two screen shots of our traffic stats from cpanel. In this image you can see the number of unique visitors shooting up in the second month of indexing (from 1,672 to 2,740 unique visitors). I gotta tell you, on average, I value a web site visitor at $.25 so that traffic is worth close to $700 to me. What is the cost of a Web Marketing Concepts membership? $49.94 per month (just increased from $29.95 as I said it would. Still a sick deal.). Who's smiling now?

This screen shot shows how many times the pages in this account have been indexed. I know it's hard to see but Yahoo's spider has hit the site over 2,000 times and the Googlebot has visited almost 1,000 times...and we're just getting started. Remember the WMC system builds up to 5,500 content pages per account so when the spiders start indexing all those pages it's 'HELLO TRAFFIC!'

If you haven't signed up for a WMC account yet you're doing yourself a big hurt. I'm putting the finishing touches on my WMC mindmap (explains in detail how to get the most from WMC). If you've opened an account and are ready to fly, send me an e-mail and I'll be happy to send you a free copy.

Sign up today before Jim raises the price again or, as he's suggested, removes
WMC from public access.

That's all for today.

Mike

P.S. Some of you have been inquiring about my "Get Google Traffic Risk Free" offer. Visit this page and e-mail me if you're ready for some VIP treatment ;)

The All-In-One Solution...

As promised, today I’m going to share with you the industry’s absolute best “out-of-the-box” web building and traffic generating package. Sounds like hype, doesn’t it? It’s not.

Listen, I was once in your shoes; totally overwhelmed by all of the so-called Internet marketing gurus and their “guaranteed” quick and easy online money-making tools and ideas.

Know this: there is nothing about being successful online that is quick and easy.

Fact is, there are hundreds of resources and sites available to gather information about building successful web projects and most of this vast wealth of knowledge is great to use, but the big question is still always there. How do I decipher all this information and tailor it my needs?

The real answer to this question is not a simple one and there is no "secret sauce" that will make you millions. To be truly successful online you have to have, or develop, certain traits. Some of these traits are: persistence, patience, a thirst for knowledge, willingness to take a few risks, and the ability to learn from failure. Then, there are four things that reign supreme when it comes to building a successful website:

  1. Pick a topic/subject/product that you are very passionate about and begin a blog or website that you update regularly.
  2. Attract targeted traffic to your content
  3. Pre-sell those visitors with honest, authoritative articles and reviews
  4. Monetize your pre-sold traffic

Fortunately, one man was able to grasp all of the above and was willing to share his gifts with the rest of us.

I've been online since 1986, and I built my first income-generating website in 1994 (when Cool Site of the Day was born). Most of the money I've earned in my life has come from my online businesses. But my approach has been virtually unteachable. Until now.

In the past, if I were to spell-out how to build a high-traffic web site or how to make money from your blog, 9 out of 10 of you would fail. There were just too many programs to master and too many steps involved.

Starting a blog is dead simple these days. Creating a highly profitable, high-traffic website from scratch is very, very hard if you've never done it before.

An Unexpected Solution

The reason I'm writing this article is that I finally found a practical solution for people who want to build a successful online business without getting lost in a sea of technical details, using essentially the same business model I used to generate over $800,000 in affiliate revenue.

I'll explain the details in a moment.

When I started www.coolsite.com, I'd already been running a previous online business full-time for nearly a decade. www.coolsite.com didn't succeed because I was lucky or brilliant. It succeeded because I'd already invested thousands of hours and thousands of dollars in an earlier business. I paid my dues the hard way.

Fast forward to my introduction to Ken Evoy. Ken founded an interesting business called Site Build It!, a fascinating service that helps people build income-generating web sites. They provide complete hosting as well as an extensive suite of tools to help you build traffic and generate meaningful income.

This guy is really passionate about helping people build businesses online, and he found a way to succeed where few have. Ken realized just as I did that the technological complexity required to build a successful online business is just way too high for most people.

At first he tried to teach people how to do it -- even writing a book on the subject (it sold over 100,000 copies, so he knew what he was doing) -- but he ran into the same frustrating problems I did. No matter how clearly you explain it, it's just really hard for people to grasp the details, so they always screw it up. But instead of trying to teach people how to handle every little technical detail, Ken decided to build a service that would do it for them, automating as much as of the process as humanly possible. Ten years later Ken's vision is a huge success, with thousands of "raving fan" customers who've built real income-generating websites via Site Build It!

Ken is an incredibly hands-on entrepreneur with a rare level of dedication to his customers. He's extremely active in the Site Build It! members-only forums, with more than 4,700 posts of his own. Ken makes a tremendous personal effort to help people succeed, and from reading his posts, I could tell that his interest in people is authentic. Ken isn't alone though -- there are lots of highly active members in their forums who are passionate about helping each other. This definitely isn't a take-your-money-and-run operation.

How to Build a Profitable Online Business

Site Build It! is designed around a simple formula, which they refer to as CTPM. This stands for Content -> Traffic -> Presell -> Monetize.

You may recognize that this is precisely the model I refered to above. When done correctly this "content is king" approach can generate tons of traffic, in my case hundreds of thousands of page views per month. Preselling is the process of building a relationship with visitors, which essentially means treating visitors like human beings instead of sales targets. People visit this site looking for ideas to improve their lives, so that's what I focus on providing. The final monetization step occurs when people click on ads or buy affiliated products that happen to be of interest to them.

The major limiting step in this formula is building traffic. If you can't build decent traffic, you won't succeed. But the overall formula is sound, and it works if you do it correctly. It just happens to be very difficult for human beings to apply it without screwing it up. The advantage of Site Build It! is that it provides technical solutions to help reduce your chances of making mistakes. Where it cannot provide a technical solution, it provides clear instructions and education to help you succeed.

Even with Site Build It!, there's still no guarantee of success. This isn't a get-rich-quick scheme. It will still take commitment and effort to build a successful online business. But this robust suite of tools will definitely put the odds of success in your favor. You don't have to become a technology expert to earn enough to quit your day job.

The key benefit of Site Build It! is that it provides tools, guidance, and coaching to help you stay focused on the correct actions. This begins with providing easy-to-use research tools to help you figure out what kind of site to create in the first place. A lot of people fail because they create sites that were doomed from the very beginning. It really saddens me when a blogger emails me to say that s/he is still getting no traffic even after writing 100+ articles. I don't like telling people that they made their biggest mistake before the site was even launched by choosing a topic with virtually no demand... or one that's oversaturated with entrenched competition. Site Build It! can help you avoid soul-crushing problems like this.

Why Use Site Build It?

If you already run a successful online business that generates thousands of dollars a month in income for you, you don't necessarily need Site Build It! But if that's your situation, I highly recommend you join their affiliate program, which will give you an extra passive income stream. (To learn more about their affiliate program, scroll to the bottom of this post, or visit their Affiliate Center directly.)

However, if you're new to online business, or if you've tried and failed, or if you're stuck trying to build traffic and generate income, then you should definitely take a look at Site Build It!

With Site Build It! you don't have to build your web pages from scratch using HTML and CSS. They provide point-and-click tools and templates to generate your pages quickly and easily, including images. This allows you to focus on writing your content instead of wrestling with the underlying technology. Of course, if you're already comfortable with tools like Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Flash, knock yourself out. Site Build It! is compatible with other HTML editors, so you're always free to fall back on your own tools if that's your preference. This gives you maximum flexibility to create the look and feel you want.

All the Tools, Training, and Support You Need to Build Your Own Income-Generating Website

Site Build It! includes an extensive suite of tools to help you build a successful online business every step of the way, including:

  • domain name registration
  • web site hosting
  • point-and-click page creation
  • content management
  • blogging
  • market research
  • traffic stats
  • search engine optimization
  • auto-responders
  • form builder
  • graphic manager
  • customizable templates
  • sitemaps
  • RSS feeds
  • web mail
  • newsletter management

Seriously, this is only a small fraction of the tools they include. Many functions are completely automated, and some tools work for you in the background even when you aren't aware of them. For example, if you update a page on your website, Site Build It! will automatically regenerate your Google and Yahoo sitemaps. If you don't know what a sitemap is, with Site Build It! you don't even need to worry about it. The technology will handle it for you. This means you can focus on creating content instead of worry about getting all the technical details right. Site Build It! will even suggest new topics you should write about to increase your traffic, based on its analysis of your current search traffic patterns.

Site Build It! provides unlimited customer support as well as private discussion forums where thousands of members share tips and advice. I browsed their forums myself and saw a lot of enthusiastic members helping each other. It's an extremely active community with hundreds of thousands of posts. They also have a team of moderators and in-house editorial staff who glean the best pearls from their forums and turn them into articles -- on everything from brainstorming to monetizing.

Their near weekly newsletter keeps you up to date on the current best practices as well as additions and updates to their "Info HQ" knowledge base. They track what's happening in the world of e-business (over 100 feeds, blogs, e-zines), so you don't have to. This makes it easy for you to focus on your business without worrying that you're missing important opportunities.

Site Build It! is basically an all-in-one solution for building a successful online business. They continue to add new tools and refine their existing tools to keep the service state-of-the-art.

Getting Started

I encourage you to look into Site Build It! to see if it makes sense for you. I recommend you start with the Site Build It! home page, watch the 2-1/2 minute video there, and follow whichever links interest you. The 30-minute video tour is a must -- it will really clarify everything for you. The video tour starts out mostly motivational in tone (i.e. benefits of working from home), but later on it dives into the details of how the tools and monetization strategies work, using real web sites as examples. I think you'll find it educational even if you have only a minor interest in making money online.

If what you see arouses your interest, but you're skeptical about what to expect, you'll definitely want to read my upcoming step-by-step Site Build It! walkthrough next. It explains exactly what to expect during the first 10 days, from the time you sign up until your new money-making website is online.

If you really want to do your homework, I suggest checking out some of the success story videos submitted by their customers as well as their in-depth case studies. If you have any questions about Site Build It!, you can submit them via the questions form, and you'll get an answer from a real Site Build It! owner/user.

Of course Site Build It! comes with a money-back guarantee, so there's no risk to try it for yourself. You can test drive it for 30 days and get a full refund if you don't like it. If you register a domain name through Site Build It!, you can even keep your new domain for free if you later decide to quit. That's a better than money-back guarantee, since you get a free domain name no matter what. Also, if you decide to quit after 30 days, you can get a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your subscription... and of course still keep your new domain name too.

Become a Site Build It! Affiliate

Site Build It! has a very generous affiliate program, so if you already have a website and are looking for new income sources, this one is very solid for several reasons. First, you continue to earn residual commissions when each referral you generate renews their annual subscription, so the earnings are ongoing. Secondly, Site Build It! has a two-tier affiliate program, meaning that you also earn commissions on sales generated by affiliates you refer. Thirdly, unlike some stingy programs, they have an extremely robust tracking system to make sure you're fairly credited for your referrals. And fourthly, they support their affiliates with their 5 Pillar Club newsletter, detailed tracking tools, ad generators, members-only forums, and more. These people are serious about seeing their affiliates succeed.

Site Build It! not only has a great affiliate program, but they back it up with a truly valuable service that actually works for those who work it. I'd have no qualms about recommending Site Build It! to my own family members. I joined their affiliate program myself because Site Build It! solves a key problem for me and many of my visitors. I finally have a place to refer people for the tools and practical education necessary to create their own online businesses.

You can become a Site Build It! affiliate even if you never purchase a Site Build It! subscription for yourself. This is great for people who already have a successful online business. And again, you also benefit from each new affiliate who joins from your affiliate links. Due to the generous commission structure, some affiliates earn more than $20,000 per month.

If you're interested in learning more about the Site Build It! affiliate program, visit their Affiliate Center, and check out the commission structure. It's free to sign-up as an affiliate.

If I hadn't already learned how to build an online business the hard way, I'd use Site Build It! to get there much faster. It would have shaved years off my learning curve if this had been available when I created my first income-generating site back in 1994. I strongly recommend you look into Site Build It! if you want to successfully generate income online.

To your online success!

Cool Site of the Day to Bare All!

It's Friday.

Christmas is only days away.

And I've got a great gift for everyone who has submitted their site to Cool Site of the Day over the years...well, not everyone--just those who want to make money from their web site(s).

(If you're not interested in making money with your web site then delete this message now--it will only be a waste of your time.)

Before I send you off to your gift--a gift that will truly keep on giving for the rest of your life--I want you to know that I have had some enormous success in the field of Affiliate Marketing (generating over $800,000 in annual affiliate revenue).

Beginning with the new year, I am going to start sharing ALL my Affiliate Marketing secrets with a select group of webmasters who have visited Cool Site of the Day over the past several years. You could be one of them.

At the end of this message you will have a chance to join my 'Cool Site of the Day Biz Blog' e-mail list. When you do, you will be placed on my early notification list announcing the long-awaited release of my most closely guarded tips and tricks of the Affiliate Marketing game. Yes, it will be free.

Now for your gift (as if giving you my brain dump is not enough).

Like I said above, I'm going to give you something that will benefit you for the rest of your life.

Strong words, I know, but when I was introduced to Rich Schefren several months ago my entire life AND business changed. You see, Rich wrote the "Internet Business Manifesto". The "Manifesto" is a free report that has changed the lives of thousands of Internet entrepreneurs including myself.

In fact, I can honestly say that Rich Schefren's free reports have been the single most important factor in my affiliate commissions going from a couple of hundred dollars per month to $10,000,
$20,000, and $30,000 per month.

I've included a link to the "Manifesto" below but it's important to know that his follow-up, "The Attention Age Doctrine" and his latest "Business Acceleration Program" are just as critical and
timely as the "Manifesto" was when it was released.

AND that is EXACTLY why you MUST get this NOW

Rich Schefren released his Business Acceleration Program yesterday.

There has NEVER been a course like this before. I mean, just look at the page and you'll see what I mean.

Even if you think you're not going to grab a copy (I think you're crazy if you don't), you MUST take a look at the Fast Mover Bonuses.

They are unbelievable.

Rich has proven with this launch that everything he teaches actually WORKS. So, of course, I'm getting a copy for myself.

I recommend you do the same.

Get yours NOW.

Before they're gone -- and they WILL be gone.

To your success in 2008,
