You've got until midnight...

Wow!

Insane news today (and SORRY for the late notice)....I don't even know where to start.

The InnerMastermind Pay Per Click conference I attended in Las Vegas on Thursday/Friday was mind blowing but before I get to that...get THIS!.....

Last week I told you about Jeff Walker's Product Launch Formula. I'm not going to tell you how great a tool it is--for that, you can read his lengthy info letter. What I am going to tell you is that Jeff did more than a million dollars in sales booked in about 12 hours (remember, he launched his Product Launch Formula on Thursday).

That's just plain crazy... I mean it was just a few years ago when doing a million dollars in a
day was nearly unthinkable for an Internet marketing product.

Las Vegas & PPC

So, last week I was invited to an intensive seminar in Vegas on pay per click advertising. The speaker is currently using pay per click to advertise a bunch of offers from several CPA ad networks.

This guy (and his partner) is no ordinary pay per click advertising specialist. As I expressed to others at the seminar, I consider myself to be quite advanced when it comes to Adwords and ppc in general. Little did I know how much more I could (and now, will) accomplish. The speaker (who must remain anonymous for reasons you'll understand in a few weeks), is earning between $50,000 and $150,000+ from ppc PER DAY.

I must tell you, I walked away from this event with a few pages of invaluable notes and insight. If you have ANY interest in either affiliate marketing or ppc advertising, this is the guy you want to learn from.

A few things I picked up:

• Don't underestimate Yahoo! for traffic (he currently derives SIXTY percent of his traffic from Yahoo! Search Marketing®).
• Two CPA networks you definitely want to join are AzoogleAds and Shareasale.
• Another great tool for online advertising is the Google Ad Planner.
• Creating HUGE lists of keywords is essential for certain types of campaigns.
  

As I digest what I learned from last week and as I start to apply some, if not most, of the methods discussed, I will have a lot more to share.

Fortunately, he's releasing a course which provides and inside look at his business. It promises to cover everything I learned last week and a lot more. I don't have any details yet but I know it's going to be a combination of videos, live webinars, and printed material. As soon as I get more info, you'll be the first to know. Stay alert.

Finally, speaking of ppc, I just got a heads up from Jeremy Palmer of the Black Ink Project about of a PPC flowchart from Giovanna Wall of SEO Book fame. Hey, if you're into ppc or affiliate marketing, the three links in this paragraph are going to immediately make it to your hotlist.

Problem with 'too much information'...what do you think?

After a great summer in New York I'm back to share my latest tips and tools to help make your Internet marketing efforts pay off in the fourth quarter.

After laying low for the past few weeks I am forced to overwhelm you with 'too much information'.

Yeah, you'll hear me say that you need to focus on only the important things in order to be successful online (getting traffic, converting traffic, and publishing great content). And yet, today, I've got so much damn good information to share with you that I just can't help myself.

Forgive me, I'm going to 'free associate' for a moment...

Thinking about that Subject heading ("Actionable Items") makes me laugh; if you've been paying attention, just about everything I post is 'actionable' meaning 'act now and good things will happen later' in your life and business.

The first thing I wanted to share with you today is a great and inexpensive resource for creating logos. GotLogos.com is run by a guy named Daniel; I've used his talents for several of my websites' logos. You can get a killer professionally designed logo for $25. First off, Ian is the kind of guy I'd like to work with someday but, in the meantime, Ian is going to teach me (and you) quite a few things that are essential to building and marketing web sites intelligently. Just check out his list of 59 Things You Should Be Doing But Probably Aren't. Truly great thinking and a list worth reviewing once a week.

Search Engine Traffic. Are You Paying Attention?

Finally, for those of you who took me up on my offer to set up your Web Marketing Concepts account, smart move! I couldn't handle all the requests that came in but you'll be happy to know that whether you use my services or go it alone, the results are worth it.

Here are two screen shots of our traffic stats from cpanel. In this image you can see the number of unique visitors shooting up in the second month of indexing (from 1,672 to 2,740 unique visitors). I gotta tell you, on average, I value a web site visitor at $.25 so that traffic is worth close to $700 to me. What is the cost of a Web Marketing Concepts membership? $49.94 per month (just increased from $29.95 as I said it would. Still a sick deal.). Who's smiling now?


This screen shot shows how many times the pages in this account have been indexed. I know it's hard to see but Yahoo's spider has hit the site over 2,000 times and the Googlebot has visited almost 1,000 times...and we're just getting started. Remember the WMC system builds up to 5,500 content pages per account so when the spiders start indexing all those pages it's 'HELLO TRAFFIC!'

Today (OK, tonight—yeah, I had to work out a few things before putting this post together) is a very important day in our lives; important for you because I’m bringing you one GIANT step closer to realizing your dreams of online success. Important for me because I am about to extend a hand to you in a way I’ve never done before.

Here’s the story: over a year ago I was contacted by Jim MacKinley (‘nirvana man’) about a system he was working on that would make link exchanging easy to do (in case you don’t know, getting links to your site makes the search engines happy but it is also a pain to accomplish).

In any event, Jim came up with the right piece of software so I was excited to get started. Survey Results + 2 Great Tips

Thanks to everyone for completing the survey that I posted last week (“Just One Question”). And welcome to all the new members on this list—we’re up to 3,019 and climbing fast!

The results of the survey are clear; I asked you to tell me what you would like to learn first and the most popular category was “Getting Search Engine Traffic” (selected by 71% of you). A close second was “A Complete Step-by-Step Guide to Building Profitable Web Sites” (selected by 63%). 2. If it relates to information that could be useful in the future, file it under ‘Reference’ (I now have an e-mail folder that contains all sorts of documents that I MAY refer to in the future….but NOT NOW)

3. If it’s a business idea or proposal but it’s not ESSENTIAL to your high priority, focused task(s) file it under ‘Someday’ (just like my ‘Reference’ folder, my ‘Someday’ folder is a storage tank for things I MAY consider in the future but NOT NOW).

4. If it’s related to a task that will take more than 2 minutes, then place it in your ‘Action’ folder and/or delegate the task to someone else. This is the folder that you will check at least once a week and it’s the most critical folder for your short-term success.

That’s just a snippet from this extraordinary book by David Allen. I don’t care what you do with your life (personal or business), this book will help you to breathe, think, and act in ways you’ve never been able to do so previously. Find it here.
